Ingredients for Creamy Boursin Cheese Sauce:
- ½ lb 225g pasta
- ¼ cup - 57gr butter
- ¼ cup - 57gr all-purpose flour
- 2½ cups - 600ml milk
- 1 cup - ¼l dry white wine
- 1 package (5.2 oz. -150gr) Boursin®, any flavor
- salt to taste
- parsley or rosemary, for garnish
How to make Creamy Boursin Cheese Sauce:
Cook the pasta in a large saucepan of boiling salted water following packet directions until al dente.
In heavy saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
Slowly whisk in flour until thoroughly incorporated.
Stirring constantly, whisk in milk and wine.
Cook until thick.
Reduce heat and gradually add in small, even pieces of Boursin.
Cook until cheese is completely melted and sauce is smooth. Stir in salt. If cheese sauce becomes too thick, add more milk.
Drizzle Creamy Boursin Cheese Sauce over your favorite pasta. Garnish with parsley or rosemary.
