Ingredients for Donuts:

for 10-12 waffles

   - 14 oz- 392g flour

   - 1 egg

   - 3 tbsp Dried yeast

   - 1 oz - 28g caster sugar + sugar (for sprinkling)

   - 1 oz - 28g butter (melted)

   - ½ cup  -0,11l milk (lukewarm)

   - a pinch of salt


How to make Donuts:

In a bowl combine the lukewarm milk, yeast,  and 1 egg.

Sift the flour, make a well in the center and pour in the milk mixture and melted butter.

The salt you put somewhere on the side.

Knead 10 minutes to a smooth dough. Cover and let rise for 40 minutes hours, until doubled in size.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface thickness of up to 1 cm. Insert rounds (with a glass). Make a hole with an apple corer in the middle.

Place the donuts on a greased baking sheet, cover with greased plastic wrap and let rise for about  30 minutes in a warm place until the dough has doubled.

Heat the deep-frying to 356°F - 180 ° C. Fry the donuts for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Drain and cool.

Sprinkle with sugar or dip them in melted chocolate, ground nuts, ...
