Mussels with white wine

Ingredi├źnts for Mussels with White Wine:


(serves 4)

  - 2 kg (4┬Ż lb) fresh mussels, cleaned

  - 1 large onion

  - 6 sprigs celery

  - 2 sprigs thyme

  - 10 cl white wine, not dry, not sweet

  - pepper and salt

How to make Mussels with White Wine:

Cut the onion en the celery fine and put them in a large saucepan

Deglaze with white wine and reduce to half.

Add mussels and cover.

Continue cooking for 5 to 6 minutes, shake them occasionally.

Add salt and pepper to taste.

Serve immediately.

Serve with fries.
