Ingredients for Tomato with Garlic and Parmesan Cheese:
serves 4-6 persons:
- 8 tomatoes
- 6 cloves of garlic
- 3 oz - 80 g of Parmesan cheese
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp thyme
How to make Tomato with Garlic and Parmesan Cheese:
Preheat the oven to 356°F - 180 °C.
Peel the garlic and press finely.
Make a garlic oil by browning the crushed garlic on a soft fire in olive oil.
Rinse the tomatoes under cold running water and remove the crowns.
Cut the tomatoes in half and season the cut sides with thyme, pepper, salt and the garlic oil.
Place the tomatoes with the cutting edge down in an oven dish.
Let them cook for 10 minutes in the oven.
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan and some thyme over the tomatoes and serve.
