Ingredients for Tuna Meatballs:

for 6 persons


 - 2 tbsp pine nuts

 - ½lb - 225g of fresh tuna (or frozen, thawed)

 - ½ lemon (scrubbed)

 - 1 red pepper

 - 1 tsp ground cumin

 - 1 tbsp flour

 - 3 tbsp fresh parsley

 - 3 tbsp olive oil

 - Salt and ground black pepper

 











How to make Tuna Meatballs:


Toast the pine nuts in a dry frying pan for 3 to 5 minutes until they turn light brown.

Chop the pine nuts then fine.


Pat the tuna dry and cut into small cubes.

Grate the peel of half a lemon and squeeze the lemon.

In a large plastic bowl, combine the lemon zest, lemon juice, red pepper, cumin, pine nuts, flou, parsley and tuna cubes.

Season with salt and pepper.

Turn with wet hands balls of the mixture. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the tuna balls in 1.5 minutes on high heat until golden.


Serve at room temperature with some nice chunky bread.
