Bread Pudding

Bread pudding is a snack based on stale bread and white chocolate. By adding pieces of dried fruit such as apricot and cherries to the batter, you can turn it into a delicious dessert that you can serve both hot and cold.
Ingredients for Bread Pudding:
1 pound - 450g stale bread
20 fl. oz. - 6 dl milk
a dash vanilla pod1
1 tsp cinnamon powder
3 oz.- 90g brown sugar (cassonade)
a sniff salt
3½ oz. - 105 g white chocolate
7 oz - 210 g dried raisins or 3½ oz. -105g dried apricots and 3½ oz. -105 g dried cherries
3 eggs
dark brown sugar
powdered sugar
How to make Bread Pudding:
Preheat the oven to 338 ° F - 170 ° C.
Tear the bread into pieces and put them in the mixing bowl of your food processor.
Heat the milk together with the vanilla seeds, the vanilla pod and a pinch of cinnamon in a pan.
Remove the vanilla pod from the warmed milk and let the white chocolate melt in the warm milk.
Add the sugar and a pinch of salt to the bread.
Cut the dried apricots and cherries into small pieces. (if you use it)
Pour the melted white chocolate over the bread.
Mix everything with the food processor.
Add the eggs and raisins or pieces of dried fruit and mix until the bread mixture forms a whole.
Butter a cake pan and dust with flour.
Pour the batter into the form and cover with a thin layer of brown sugar.Bake the bread pudding in the oven for 1 hour at 338 ° F - 170 ° C.
Remove the bread pudding from the oven and let cool.
Then remove it from the mold, cut into portions and dust with powdered sugar.
